Since it’s introduction to the North Sea in 1982 many have worked on or with this well-known installation. Initially the Neddrill 3 and later known as the Noble Ronald Hoope and consequently Paragon C-463. The 3-legged Jack-up drilling unit is presently known as “Caprio” under it’s new owners, and after a 2 year period in the port of Ijmuiden, the unit was towed under guidance of Offshore Marine Contractors BV (OMC) Towmasters to Vlissingen.
The 1982-built unit was towed by the Zeus of Finland, Ginger and Multratug 29 arriving at Vlissingen on 5th of October. On entering Vlissingen Port assistance was provided by Multratug 20 and Multratug 9.
