March 2014 Offshore Marine Contractors on behalf of EOG Resources successfully completed the towage and installation of the accommodation / support Jack-up JB-115 alongside the Douglas production complex in the Irish Sea.
February 2016 EOG Resources invited OMC to execute the demobilisation stage of the jack-up JB-115 to Holyhead in the United Kingdom. In Holyhead the unit will be prepared for a dry tow to Flushing in The Netherlands.
Under command of the OMC Towmaster the legs of the JB-115 cleared the seabed on the evening of the 6th of March, after which the tow proceeded with the Thorax (88ts BP) and Vortex (73ts BP), both operated by Ostensjo Rederi.
In the afternoon of March 7th the convoy entered Holyhead where the unit was safely positioned and jacked up to a safe air gap to be prepared for the dry-tow.
